Raging Echoes League/Areas

In the Raging Echoes League, players are locked to certain areas within Gielinor. All players will begin the league restricted to Misthalin and unlock Karamja for free during the tutorial. Up to three other areas can be unlocked after completing 90, 200, and 400 League tasks.

Travel options from region to region are restricted by magical barriers unless players have access to the appropriate areas. Death's office, the Player Owned House, Random Events and the Essence mine will be accessible from all areas. Usage of transportation methods such as Charter Ships, Fairy Rings, Customs Officers, gnome gliders, etc. will require the destination area be unlocked before they can be used.

There are a total of 11 areas: Asgarnia, Fremennik Province, Kandarin, Karamja, The Kharidian Desert, Misthalin, Morytania, Tirannwn, Wilderness, Kebos and Kourend, and Varlamore.

A player unlocks a new area in the Raging Echoes League.

General information

  • Unlocking new areas will complete various quests and Achievement Diary tasks but will not award any quest completion XP. However, quests on your own gain you the rewards before unlocking the area which auto-completes it.
  • When purchasing a Player Owned House it will be accessible from Brimhaven. Houses can only be moved to unlocked areas.
  • Some shop items will refresh stock when opening the interface and let players buy noted items.
  • Slayer Masters will all assign the same tasks, taking into account unlocked areas.
  • Impling spawn rates have been increased.
  • All Soulreaper Axe pieces will drop from every Desert Treasure 2 boss.
  • Nihil shards drop in increased quantity from Nex.

Raids have been modified:

The following drops are boosted in all areas:

  • All clue unique rewards
  • All unique rewards from superior slayer creatures
  • Dragon pickaxes from all sources
  • Tormented Synapse has had its inspect option adjusted and will now allow you to instantly convert it to an Emberlight, Scorching Bow, or Purging Staff.
