Hespori (Echo) is a more challenging variant of Hespori that is accessible during the Demonic Pacts League. To fight it the player must have a Kourend echo orb in their inventory, which is dropped by regular Hespori. Challenging the Echo Hespori does not require a hespori seed, nor does it consume the orb. However, unlike the regular version, Hespori (Echo) does not grant Farming experience when harvested after killing it. Despite not granting Farming experience, Tangleroot can still be dropped by Hespori (Echo).

During the fight, the plants that grow will be using either Protect from Melee or a combination of Protect from Magic and Protect from Missiles, thus requiring two combat styles for the encounter.

The unique drop of Hespori (Echo) is Nature's recurve, a bow that can restore health and prayer points.

Choosing to fight the Hespori (Echo) upon entering the cave will reset the patch, discarding the seed if one has been planted. If the player forgets to bring a spade for clearing Hespori (Echo) to receive the drops, it can be returned to by choosing not to fight the Echo version.

Hespori (Echo) rolls the same drops as regular Hespori, in addition to a roll for its unique echo item.
