Demonic Pacts League/Guide/Fishing

There are two fishing shops available in Varlamore: Picaria's Fishing Shop in the Sunset Coast and Sulisal's Superb Fishing Store in Kastori. Both have identical stock, selling standard fishing equipment and bait along with a small selection of raw fish. Once Karamja is unlocked, Fernahei's Fishing Hut. in Shilo Village also becomes available.

For standard fishing, many fishing spots are available around Varlamore's coasts and rivers. All sorts of fishing are available at Varlamore; small net, big net, lure, bait, fly fishing, harpooning and cages. This caps at shark fishing spots.

Fishing is affected by the following relics:

Endless Harvest allows the player to endlessly gather from fishing spots, even if they deplete after your first interaction. Resources gathered from Fishing are multiplied by 2, with XP being received for additional resources. It has a toggleable effect to send all gathered resources to the bank.

Barbarian Gathering allows the player to fish with their bare hands, being treated as the equivalent of a crystal harpoon when harpooning. On failing to catch a fish, the player has a separate 50% chance to succeed. When gaining Fishing XP, an additional 10% of XP is received in Strength and Agility. The player is also given a knapsack that allows for the storage of raw and cooked fish. The knapsack can also dispose of its contents, so players can dump fish as needed.

Abundance permanently boosts the player's Fishing level by 10.

Hotfoot gives the player the searing boots, which in addition to several Agility-related benefits, also automatically cooks caught fish when equipped.

Butler's Bell allows the player to summon a demon butler who can perform various activities for them, including catching fish (14 per minute), even when offline. No XP is received for this, only the resources.

Flow State decreases the time in between each fishing action down to 2 ticks, which can also stack with Diabolic worms.

Most common fish can be caught almost anywhere in Gielinor. The following methods are highlighted for above average experience, or due to valuable food caught.

If taking the Barbarian Gathering relic, tools are not needed, although bait may still be required.
