Diabolic worms are a fishing enhancer item, which are a superior alternative to sandworms for fishing raw anglerfish. They are dropped by Yama.

Using diabolic worms as bait will increase the skilling success rate of catching anglerfish; upon its consumption, the player's next 'catch' roll has a 50% chance to occur a tick faster. However, these benefits come at a cost of reducing the experience gained per anglerfish from 120 to 79.2.

At level 99 Fishing, your chance of a successful anglerfish catch increases from 14% up to 40%.

Diabolic worms can be stored inside a tackle box.
