Contract of worm acquisition is a contract used to challenge Yama to a more difficult fight for a guaranteed drop of 250 diabolic worms. It can be dropped by Yama himself through opening dossiers.

The contract (which is burned up upon starting the fight) can be completed with a partner, though only one player needs to present the contract to Yama; additionally, the player who does so will be the one who receives the reward upon defeating Yama, while their partner will roll for unique drops (the standard table is not rolled).

When the player fights Yama after signing the contract of worm acquisition, the following changes apply:

• Hitpoints and prayer restoration are halved.
• Shadow Waves and Fire Streaks appear more frequently.
• Shadow Crash is used throughout the entire fight, with five sets of fireballs instead of three.
• Four void flares spawn at a time whenever Yama does so instead of two.
• The Judge of Yama throws fire bombs every 3 ticks, and throws two per attack.
• Void flares spawn with full health in phase 3.
