Contract of oathplate acquisition is a contract used to challenge Yama to a more difficult fight for a guaranteed drop of a piece of oathplate armour. It can be dropped by Yama himself through opening dossiers.

The contract must be completed alone, and is consumed upon starting the fight. When starting the fight, the player will be able to choose which armour piece they want to receive.

When the player fights Yama after signing the contract of oathplate acquisition, the following changes apply:

• Hitpoints and prayer restoration are halved.
• Shadow Waves and Fire Streaks appear more frequently.
• Shadow Crash is used throughout the entire fight, with the centre fireball leaving behind a shadow pool for the rest of the fight.
  • If the shadow pool would spawn on top of a glyph, it will instead spawn on a random tile nearby.
• Shadow Crash will drop five sets of fireballs instead of three.
• Four void flares spawn at a time whenever Yama does so instead of two.
• The Judge of Yama throws fire bombs every 3 ticks, and throws two per attack.
