Fire spell (NPC)

Fire spells are projectiles fired by the Judge of Yama during the intermission phases of the fight against Yama. Upon the player's exile from the main arena at the end of phases 1 and 2 of the fight, players will have to hop across stones to reach the Judge; as they do so, it will launch these spells in one or two of five potential spots en route every five ticks. Getting hit by these will deal up to 30 damage, meaning the player must dodge them or attack it with water spells, which deal the player's max hit.

The same projectile is also used by Surok Magis during the fight against him during While Guthix Sleeps, though with different mechanics. When he shouts Witness true sorcery!, he will fire an elemental spell towards the player, after which they must cast an elemental spell of the opposing element - in this case water - to dispel the attack. Otherwise, the player will be hit for 45+ damage through Protect from Magic. This attack becomes more dangerous throughout the fight, as he will fire more spells the lower his health gets, firing up to four at once towards the end of the fight.
