Was only a matter of time before someone took note of my work. Have been approached by a Mahjarrat called Lucien. He has taken a great interest in my research and is willing to help fund it in return for help in obtaining the Staff of Armadyl.

Doubt he can be trusted. He seems very business-like and efficient, but his personal ambition is a danger. Still, likely have no choice but to agree. The resources he offers are immense.

Lucien's resources have changed the game. With them, it did not take long to confirm suspicions regarding the Temple of Ikov. The artefact there was indeed the Staff of Armadyl.

Lucien has now taken ownership of the Staff. He has found little problem wielding it. Staff is a beautiful item of exquisite workmanship, but far more notable is its power. It's truly unlike anything previously encountered.

Despite success, Lucien doesn't seem satisfied. He claims this is just the beginning. If history is to be believed, it was the Staff that allowed Zamorak to claim godhood. However, if godhood is what Lucien seeks as well, why is the Staff not enough for him? He is still funding my work, so it seems I have a role to play in whatever he plans next.

Found a new tome of interest in the library of Keldagrim. City was sealed for thousands of years. Should have considered the potential there sooner.

The Helpers, High Order of Guthix: 'A healer of Guthix spoke unto me that he had seen the power. That Guthix's fist would tear at the feeble grasp of those pretender gods who claim possession of the unfortunates that live in Gielinor.'

Once again, references to gods and their apparent all-powerful body parts. Did Zamorak have an omnipotent nose? Could Guthix's lips drink the oceans dry? Clearly not, so what does it mean?

Tome also contained some symbology, including a strange hexagonal design like that seen before. Dragonkin were previously dismissed as not an area of focus, but perhaps should reconsider. Symbolism seems tied to both them and to this Fist. Will dig out research.

Research on dragonkin is light. Ancient race of dragon-like creatures. Some claim they created dragons, but other dispute. Plausible idea though. Generally considered extinct since the work of Robert the Strong in the Fourth Age, though again, some dispute this.

Accounts of dragonkin describe demon birds whose arrival signals absolute destruction. Orikalkum, commonly known as 'Dragon', may actually be named after them rather than after dragons. Discovery of forge in Baxtorian Caverns reinforces this.

Too many unknowns here. Need certainty, but also need to retain focus. Will revisit if other leads disappoint.

Returned to tome found in Keldagrim. Found references to something called 'Safekeep'. Presumably a place, but location is unclear. Also mentioned was 'Archive', but not clear if these are one and the same.

Location is clearly tied to Guthix and his followers, but tome was more rambly than most. Should take care. Can't assume all of this information to be accurate. These tomes were written long ago and translated many times. Mentality of original writers is impossible to know.

Seems Lucien has reason to distrust me. He's despatched a pair of spies to keep an eye on my work. However, spies were sloppy and quick to notice. They won't be an issue. Will lay a false trail leading them to Draynor Village so they stay out of the way.

Lucien requested a meeting. Claimed he wanted an update on my work, but suspect he had other intentions.

He had no reason to, but chose to demonstrate a new incantation: Daemonicas Abhoris. Have heard tales of such magic, but assumed it to be impossible.

Incantation filled the vicinity with cursed flames and the stench of putrefied death. From the flames came a warped beast of charred bone and burnt flesh. A demon, bound to an eternity of torment. Lucien laughed exultantly at his creation and controlled it like a puppet. I saw the hatred in its eyes, but it could do nothing as it was forced to bow down as if offering fealty.

A demonstration. Lucien is reminding me of his power. Should ensure I make suitable preparations. Normal weapons will likely only be marginally useful. The creatures seem to possess some sort of magical defence. However, there are weapons in this world that demons fear. Should acquire one in case Lucien turns them on me.

Disappointment after disappointment has often had me thinking of my younger days, when I was first told about the eureka moment: the moment when everything finally makes sense. That moment has finally arrived.

The Order of Wizards have discovered an ancient temple: A place known as the Temple of the Eye that was built to house Saradomin's Eye. Eye may be long gone, but clear traces of its energy remain. Traces perfectly match the power detected across Gielinor.

The Wilderness, Morytania, Lunar Isle, Lumbridge and now this temple. At some point in time, the Eye was present in all of these locations. Of course, that's not entirely true. The Eye is clearly a false name.

Despite the propaganda of his followers, Saradomin did not make the Eye. He was just one of many to possess it. While it was Saradomin's Eye at one point in time, at another it was the Fist of Guthix. No doubt it has gone by many other names as well. Now only one question remains: Where to find it?

I realise now what Lucien seeks. What he hopes I will find for him. The Staff of Armadyl did not grant Zamorak godhood, because the Staff alone lacks the power to do so. The Staff allowed him to claim the power of the 'Nameless One', but his ascension was only possible thanks to something else. He needed the Stone.

Yes, Stone, for that seems to be the closest thing to its true name that I can find. An ancient tablet found at the Varrock Digsite offered the final puzzle piece. Seemed meaningless at the time, but now it is all so clear.

'Jas left a Stone behind.' Once translated, that's what the text on the tablet read. The Moon Clan knew all along, but they kept that knowledge a secret. However, I have now discovered the truth: The Eye of Saradomin. The Fist of Guthix. The Stone of Jas.
