The Elite black platebody is a piece of elite black armour which requires 40 Defence to equip and is obtained during While Guthix Sleeps. It is dropped by Elite Black Knights within the Black Knight Catacombs. During the quest, it is a guaranteed drop (before giving the set to Silif) and can be used with the full set to enter the Black Knights' Fortress.
About and uses
It has the same stats as a mithril platebody, with the prayer bonus of a proselyte hauberk; however, unlike the proselyte hauberk, the elite black platebody interferes with the ability of Ava's devices to pick up ammunition.
The Elite black platebody counts as a Zamorak item in the God Wars Dungeon.
This item can be stored in the armour case of a costume room, as part of the Elite black armour. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.
