What this calculator does not model
- Magic. Spells, powered staves and magic max hits are not calculated.
- Special attacks, and passive effects such as Dharok’s set, are not applied.
- Set effects are not applied: Void Knight, Obsidian, Inquisitor’s, Crystal and the rest.
- Bonuses against particular monsters are not applied: a Slayer helmet on task, a Salve amulet, Dragon hunter and Demonbane weapons, and the Twisted bow’s scaling.
- Weapons that hit more than once or follow their own rules, such as the Scythe of vitur, count one hit per attack.
- A weapon is needed, and it must have exactly one combat styles table on its page. Unarmed combat is not calculated.
- Ammunition is not checked against the weapon. Its bonuses are added to the rest of the equipment whatever the weapon fires.
- Name suggestions are not limited to the slot being filled, because the index does not record slots for items. An item in the wrong slot is refused when the form is sent.
- Prayers, potions and stances use only what the wiki states. A potion boosts from your base level, one potion applies at a time, and boosts do not wear off.
- Fighting other players. The target is always a monster.
- The average time to kill is hitpoints divided by damage per second, so it is approximate.
- The kill-time spread assumes one unchanging fight: no phases, healing or switches. It is not worked out for monsters with more than 1,000 hitpoints.
