The wild broav is caught during the quest While Guthix Sleeps in Feldip Hills, using a pitfall trap and a Mort Myre fungus as bait. It is obtained as the unconscious broav.
After being caught, it can be taken to the Hunting expert to be trained into the broav psuedo-pet. If the broav is lost, this process can be repeated both during and after the quest to obtain another one.
