Duradel is the second-highest level Slayer master, after Mortimer. He's located in Shilo Village, which requires the completion of the Shilo Village quest to be accessed. He can be reached by climbing the ladder in the fishing shop located just south of the river. To receive Slayer tasks from Duradel, a combat level of 100 and a Slayer level of 50 is required, or any combat level if the player has achieved 99 Slayer and shows him the Slayer cape. Being assigned a Slayer task from him is a hard task in the Karamja Diary.

Duradel is popular amongst high-level slayers who are looking to profit the most out of slayer tasks, as he usually assigns more compared to other slayer masters (if not extended) and has higher weight on several potential tasks, such as bosses.

Blocking a task with Duradel costs 100 Slayer reward points.

Players who have achieved 99 Slayer can purchase a Slayer cape from him for 99,000 coins.

• Using the "Slayer Master" option on the Karamja gloves 4 to teleport directly next to Duradel.
• The Lunar spell Astral Contact can be used to receive a new assignment from Duradel remotely.
• Using the Karamja gloves 3 will teleport you beside the ladder inside the Gem mine under Shilo Village. Go up the ladder, then cross the bridge to the south and head east.
• Fairy ring code CKR to teleport west of Shilo Village then heading south towards the Kharazi Jungle and then east and up to reach the village. Then head a bit north.
• Using the cart system to travel from Brimhaven for 200 coins once you finish the Shilo Village quest, then run east.

Players can receive Slayer reward points for completing Slayer tasks—this is based on how many tasks players have accomplished in a row. Completion of a task assigned by Duradel will grant you:

• Duradel's hair is probably inspired by the Sikha, or Shikha. In Hinduism, this can signify a lock of hair left on the shaven head of a male Orthodox Hindu. Duradel's clothing also resembles that of a Hindu saint.
• Duradel shares his iconic face paint with many others around Gielinor, such as Vannaka, the Oracle (on top of Ice Mountain) and the random event Genie.
• The difference between Duradel and Nieve/Steve's tasks is that he assigns waterfiends and doesn't assign brine rats, turoths, Scabarites, and custodian stalkers, as well as the different weights and amounts to kill for each task.
• In the 20th Postbag from the Hedge, it is revealed Vannaka is a student of Duradel. He once challenged Duradel and lost.^[1]
• After the events of While Guthix Sleeps he is replaced by his daughter, Kuradal.
