Lanthus is the manager of the Castle Wars minigame and stands in the lobby. Besides exchanging Castle wars tickets and plaudits for various prizes at the Castle Wars Ticket Exchange, Lanthus also informs players when a game has ended and tells players new to Castle Wars about the game. Postie Pete will at times appear in the Castle Wars lobby and hold a brief conversation with Lanthus.
He can also be contacted via the Astral Contact spell to know when the next game of Castle Wars starts and how many players are on each team.
If you use an Ava's device or Ranging cape (with Animal Magnetism completed) on him, he will offer to collect your ranged ammunition. Castle wars bracelets may also be used on Lanthus to store their charges and have them be used automatically when a game starts.
