The decorative shield (gold) can be bought in the Castle Wars area south of the Observatory for 600 Castle Wars tickets. They can only be bought from Lanthus. The gold decorative shield offers similar stats to an adamant kiteshield but weighs less, and requires level 30 Defence to wear.
When unprotected upon PvP death, this item will stay in the inventory, but will become broken and will require 5,000 coins to repair. 5,000 coins will be dropped upon death for the opponent. After a regular death, the item can be retrieved from the gravestone without a fee.
This item can be stored in the armour case of a costume room, as part of the Castle Wars armour (3) set. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.
