A pair of large doors are located within the outer wall of each team's castle inside of the arena where the Castle Wars minigame takes place. The double doors are one of the two main passages through the castle walls, the other being the lockable small door (both of which can be bypassed by either scaling the battlements or travelling through the underground tunnels).
These doors will be closed when the game begins, but can be freely opened by the defending team, allowing them to exit their castle and rush to the other side. Defenders may also freely close them again, in which case any attacker will have to attack it in order to force their way through.
Each large door has a hidden health pool of 100 Hitpoints that must be depleted before breaking down, which is shared between all attackers that contribute damage to it.[1] Damage dealt to one of the large doors is modified according to the attack type of the weapon used: a damage bonus is given when a crush attack style is selected; slash styles are given a small damage reduction; while damage dealt by stab attack styles are reduced even further.[2]
Once depleted, the large door will collapse into a broken door, allowing attackers to surge into the breach. Defenders may then use a toolkit from the central supply room to repair the broken door. The toolkit will not be consumed in the process.
