The rune pouch is a special version of the rune pouch automatically given to the player during a game of Castle Wars.
This version of the pouch provides access to all existing runes, allowing players to cast specific spells on any spellbook. These spells include:
- Standard spellbook: Wind Strike, Bind, Snare, Entangle, Saradomin Strike, Claws of Guthix, Flames of Zamorak, and more.
- Ancient Magicks: Blood Barrage, Ice Barrage, Smoke Burst, and other PvP-relevant spells.
- Lunar spellbook: Vengeance, Vengeance Other, Spellbook Swap, Humidify, and Energy Transfer.
- Arceuus spellbook: Ghostly Grasp, Vile Vigour, Mark of Darkness, Skeletal Grasp, Undead Grasp, Corruption spells, and Ward of Arceuus.
Spells that require specific equipment, such as god spells, still require the equipment to be equipped. Non-PvP utility spells are restricted within Castle Wars. Spells cast using the rune pouch does not award any Magic experience. When casting spells, the rune pouch takes precedence over runes that may be present within a player's inventory.
