Wyrms are draconic creatures requiring 62 Slayer in order to be harmed. Players can choose between one of three different monsters for this task: regular adult wyrms, wyrmlings, and Lava Strykewyrms.

Regular wyrms are found at Karuulm Slayer Dungeon, which requires boots of stone, boots of brimstone, or granite boots if the elite tier of the Kourend & Kebos Diary is not completed, or else the player will take rapid damage from the overheated floor. They attack with both melee and magic, with magic being used at a distance. They have a flat armour value of 1.

Wyrmlings are found in Neypotzli. Like their adult counterparts, they attack with melee and magic, but unlike either variant, they do not have a superior of their own, nor do they have any drops outside of their bones. They do not have flat armour.

Lava strykewyrms are found on the Charred Dungeon. Unlike standard wyrms, they attack with ranged instead of magic and do not have flat armour. Their superior, the magma strykewyrm, has a unique mechanic which requires the player to move at least two tiles from their position when the attack was initiated or they will take moderate damage. They drop dragon metal sheets with an increased drop rate on-task.

All three variants can be found on Wyrmscraig, requiring partial completion of Fallen From Grace to access. The wyrmling nest on the island is a multicombat area close to a teleport and a bank, which can assist in finishing a wyrm task quickly.

Due to wyrms' 50% earth weakness and lava strykewyrms' 50% water weakness, elemental spells can be very effective against them. By standing outside of melee range, you can cast protect from magic for standard wyrms or protect from range for lava strykewyrms to avoid all damage.

• Safe spot in Neypotzli, Earthbound Cavern. Between the statue and the top of the stairs.
• A player safespotting wyrms in Karuulm Slayer Dungeon. Players need to attack wyrms south/south-east of the marked white tile and drag them next to Garbek quo Maten. Once the wyrm is lured, player should run to marked blue tile and attack wyrm from there.
• Lava Strykewyrm safespot, with coloured tiles corresponding to different safespots - requires 9 tile attack range
