A crystal body is a piece of crystal armour requiring 70 Defence and 50 Agility to equip. When equipped, a 7.5% damage bonus and 15% accuracy bonus is applied to the crystal bow or Bow of Faerdhinen when either is equipped. This bonus stacks additively with the crystal legs and crystal helm's bonuses, for a total of 15% damage and 30% accuracy. The bonus also stacks with the slayer helmet (i) and is useful for bosses similar to the Abyssal Sire.
Players can create a crystal body via a singing bowl by combining 150 crystal shards and three crystal armour seeds. Doing so requires level 74 Smithing and Crafting to sing the crystal (the levels can be boosted), and grants 7,500 experience in both skills. Players can configure the charges while the crystal body is in their bank by right-clicking on Configure-Charges, as long as players have the required materials. If the player does not meet the Smithing and Crafting requirements, they can have Conwenna or Reese sing the crystal for them for an extra 60 crystal shards, for a total of 210.
The body's colours may also be changed to other colours of the Elven Clans by buying crystals from Lliann's Wares in Prifddinas, which cost 500,000 coins each. It can also be reverted to its original colour by using the crystal of Meilyr on any variant of the body.
If lost to another player in a dangerous PVP death, the crystal body will revert to 3 crystal armour seeds, which will then be dropped for the killer. All crystal shards will be lost should this happen. If the crystal body is protected on death, the body will be kept, and will not lose any charges- similar to a blowpipe or trident.
When combined with an imbued slayer helmet, the damage bonus from crystal armour pieces is multiplied by the 15% ranged damage boost from the helmet. Assuming players are wearing both the crystal body and legs, this results in a damage bonus of approximately 29.375%.

Degradation
When created, the crystal body starts off at 2,500 charges and degrades like all crystal equipment, with one charge being depleted for each successful hit that is received from combat (protection prayers can prevent the loss of a charge); once the body's charges have been fully depleted, it will no longer have its set effect and stat bonuses until more charges are added to it. The damage from poison or venom will not deplete charges. Wearing an elven signet while using crystal equipment will provide a 10% chance to not consume charges.
In order to add charges to the crystal body, crystal shards must be used on it (this can be done before it is inactive as well), with each shard granting 100 charges, up to a maximum of 20,000. Dismantling a crystal body will return the crystal armour seeds to the player and doing so will lose all crystal shard charges that were previously loaded.
