Custodian stalkers can be assigned as a Slayer task starting at level 54 by Chaeldar, Nieve, and Mortimer, and can be found in the Stalker Den after the completion of the Shadows of Custodia quest. There are multicombat areas where cannons can be placed in the south-western side of the dungeon, and single-combat caverns in the south-eastern and northern parts.
The stalkers all drop broken antlers, which are used to create atlatl dart tips for creating atlatl darts outside of subduing the Moons of Peril. The mature and elder variants are also able to drop the antler guard, a powerful off-hand item boasting offensive stats in all styles, with no defence requirement to wield. These tougher variants require a higher Slayer level to fight however, of level 67 and 76 respectively.
While most damage can be prevented with the use of Protect from Melee, once their Hitpoints get low they will use a special attack that causes a bleed effect; this attack can be blocked with Protect from Magic. When fighting multiple at once, however, changing prayers can be unwise, so some healing may be necessary. Gear with high magic defence such as dragonhide armour can be beneficial to reduce the amount of damage taken. Bones to Peaches can also allow the player to sustain longer trips with only prayer gear and potions.
Players who wish to do this task are encouraged to get 76 Slayer in order to kill the elder stalkers. In addition to better drops, only the elders can spawn a superior slayer monster, the Ancient Custodian.

- A Dwarf multicannon is ideal for luring, although the stalkers are already aggressive. A venator bow will also automatically draw aggression from the bouncing arrows.

Notes
- A Dwarf multicannon is ideal for luring, although the stalkers are already aggressive. Without using one, make sure to step out of the area every 10 minutes to reset aggression.

Method 1: Juvenile custodian stalkers in the Stalker Den
Notes:
- After aggro drops you can safespot the juvenile custodian stalkers using a skeleton in the middle of the room, they will also get stuck on the side of it.
- Bring High Level Alchemy casts as they drop adamant scimitar's at a 1 in 10 rate.
