The confliction gauntlets are an upgraded variant of the tormented bracelet requiring level 90 Hitpoints to wear, providing best-in-slot magic attack and magic damage bonuses. They are made with level 83 Crafting and level 70 Smithing by attaching the Mokhaiotl cloth, a rare untradeable drop from the Doom of Mokhaiotl, to a tormented bracelet alongside 10,000 demon tears. This process must be done at a bank and is not reversible.
Compared to the tormented bracelet, the gauntlets gain +10 magic attack bonus, some defensive bonuses and a +2% magic damage bonus, alongside a passive effect with one-handed magic weapons.

Passive effect
The gauntlets have a passive effect that occurs upon a missed magic attack, which causes the next magic attack of that weapon or spell against the same enemy to roll accuracy twice. When using multi-target spells (e.g. Blood Barrage), the passive effect will only roll accuracy twice against the primary target of the spell; secondary targets will roll accuracy once as normal.[1] However, the passive effect does not apply at all when casting ice spells, including against the primary target.[2][3] This effect is disabled if using a two-handed weapon.
Successful hit chance
As the effect of the Confliction gauntlets is variable depending on one's base accuracy, it has virtually no effect when the player's base accuracy is 95% and above, and grows to around +30% with a base accuracy of under 10%. An approximate average of the gauntlets' effects are given by the following formula:
The precise average probability of landing a successful hit on an opponent can be determined by the following formula:
Where is the base hit chance with one accuracy roll and is the hit chance with two accuracy rolls.
Calculating the base hit chance probabilities with one accuracy roll can be done as normal, and with two accuracy rolls following the formulas for Osmumten's Fang (when used outside the Tombs of Amascut):
Creation
Creating the gauntlets requires being in a bank area.

Trivia
- The passive effect of the confliction gauntlets was initially proposed without any restrictions. However, player concerns of making the Tumeken's shadow too powerful led to changes to prevent the gauntlets from interacting with it.
- The first change considered was for the passive to only apply for 4 ticks after a missed attack, but this was iterated upon and changed to its current effect instead, where the passive only functions with one-handed weapons.
- This restriction has been stated to potentially be removed in the future, if a theoretical rework of the Tumeken's shadow is released.
