The Ruins of Mokhaiotl, also referred to as the Tlati Archive, is a complex located deep underneath the Crypt of Tonali within the Tlati Rainforest. It is visited via the Tonali Cavern during the quest The Final Dawn, after completion of which the Doom of Mokhaiotl becomes accessible as a boss encounter.

Built by the Old Ones and human/dwarven refugees during the God Wars, the ruins were intended to be an archive so that they could pass along their knowledge to future civilisations before their extinction.^[1] Unfortunately, during construction of the archive, a creature was inadvertently awakened and killed those working on Mokhaiotl before it was completed.^[2] The Old Ones named this creature Osto-Ayak, or "Under-Creature".

According to the Losanium religion, "Mokhaiotl" is the name given to the centre of the world, where it is said that Ralos and Ranul will meet here to instigate Ximoua,^[3] the destruction and rebirth of the world. During the Twilight Emissaries storyline, the Twilight Emissaries cult hoped to achieve this, but were ultimately deceived by Metzli, the Teokan of Ranul, as a means for her to gain knowledge and power from the archive.

As Mokhaiotl was never completed, the ruins are mostly empty, with a cluster of infected roots found in the northern rooms which players can chop with 80 or higher Woodcutting. A shortcut can be found between the central chamber and the roots which can be used with 75 or higher Agility.

Players who head further into the ruins will find themselves in a "lobby" area that leads to the Doom of Mokhaiotl.
