The Charred Dungeon is a dungeon containing several Slayer monsters and other resources, including lava strykewyrms. It is accessible by climbing down the dark hole on Charred Island, which requires level 60 Sailing to dock at. Rope is required when entering the dungeon the first time. However, there is a rope item spawn on the island so one doesn't need to be brought to the island.

If you teleport out of the dungeon, you will need to retrieve your boat via a Shipwright, use one of the boat teleportation spells, or be brought to the island by another player, as there is no other way to get to the island than with a player-owned ship.

Two mining spots can be found in the dungeon; one to the south-west containing 10 coal, 3 adamantite and 2 runite rocks, and one to the south-central area containing 24 rubium rocks and 2 rubium deposits being mined by a dwarf named Kragin.

Random events can not spawn inside the dungeon.

The entire dungeon, barring the lava strykewyrms, is a multicombat area. A dwarf multicannon can be used throughout the dungeon, although it will not target the strykewyrms.

• Old chest that can be opened with charred key to obtain Zamorakian paints, located in the eastern half of the cave, south of the black demons

• A dragonkin skeleton can be found alongside two dragonkin chests in the south-eastern corner of the dungeon.
• Charred Island first appeared as part of the March 2025 Sailing Alpha, albeit without lava strykewyrms.
• In the Sailing Alpha and Beta, the music track Venomous would play in the dungeon.
