The Forgotten Ocean is one of Gielinor's nine oceans. It is bounded by the Sunset Ocean to the south, Kebos to the south-south-east, Kourend to the east-south-east, and the Northern Ocean to the east.

The Forgotten Ocean is divided into eight seas. The ocean has the Eternal cold hazard, which is an enhanced version of the Icy seas hazard that is present in the Northern Ocean that can freeze crewmembers and deal rapid damage to ships and players. Currently, the hazard cannot be bypassed.

Rivers Molch and Custodia flow into the Forgotten Ocean.
