A sloop is a medium-sized boat that can be purchased at level 50 Sailing from a shipwright for 200,000 coins. The sloop supports a maximum of 5 NPC crew members and 10 players.
Compared to smaller boats, sloops have more facility hotspots and crew slots but cannot fit into all the waterways a skiff or a raft can. A sloop is useful for port tasks, shipwreck salvaging, boat combat, and deep sea trawling, but less useful for exploration and Barracuda Trials.

Facilities
Sloops have 13 facility hotspots available to build boat facilities. Each hotspot can accept one or more of the following types of facilities:
- Skilling facilities: Salvaging hook, trawling net, chum station, advanced chum station, chum spreader
- Combat facilities: Cannon, ballistic attractor. Boats can only have a maximum of two cannons at the same time (either on separate sides or on the same side of the boat).
- Movement facilities: Wind catcher, gale catcher, crystal extractor, teleport focus, greater teleport focus, fathom stone, fathom pearl
- Provisioning facilities: Salvaging station, range, keg
- Other facilities: Anchor
Skilling facilities can only be built in one or two specific hotspots each, but the spaces they require are sometimes shared. Movement facilities are compatible with seven slots, and provisioning facilities can fit in six. Compatible facility types (and slot-specific facilities in bold) can be found in the table below.
