A ballistic attractor is a boat facility that recovers 60% of cannonballs fired. In order to build one, players must read a ballistic attractor schematic, obtained by speaking to Ava in Draynor Manor after completing Animal Magnetism.

The ballistic attractor can be built at specific facility hotspots on the boat, requiring level 50 Sailing and 44 Construction, granting 2141 Construction experience.

The ammo retention of the ballistic attractor is more significant than it may initially seem. Using an infinite series, we can calculate the average number of shots you will fire per each ammo that you purchase.

So for each ammo purchased, you get roughly 2.5 shots fired.
