Eagle ray

Eagle rays are a monster which can be found in the Shrouded Ocean, Unquiet Ocean, and Sunset Ocean. They may assigned as a bounty task starting at level 30 Sailing. A guaranteed bounty task can be received from the Ruins of Unkah. They drop ray barbs which can be used to make trawling nets.

When hunting the rays, it is beneficial to bring a herb sack and a seed box, as they frequently drop herbs and seeds.

Any boat with a steel keel or better will not take any damage from eagle rays.

• Ray barbs were originally intended to be a 1 in 300 drop,^[1] but due to a bug they were much more common, at a rate of where is the N^th harmonic number.^[2]
