Nearby gardeners will not watch over herb patches, nor will a fully-grown white lily plant protect them from disease.

They are obtainable from sources such as monsters, seed packs, and master farmers.

Picking some torstol from the patch north of East Ardougne is a task in the elite Ardougne Diary.

23 July 2020 (Update \| poll)	The appearance of herbs planted in herb patches now match the herb's appearance in the player's inventory.
9 January 2020 (Update \| poll)	Players can now dig up healthy herb patches before they're fully grown. To prevent players from gaining experience by repeatedly planting and digging up herb seeds, the experience usually gained from planting herbs is now given when harvesting them, alongside the usual harvesting experience.
8 February 2018 (Update \| poll)	The value was changed from 64 to 70 so that it would appear above less valuable seeds when on the ground.
