The repugnant spectre is a superior variant of the deviant spectre. It has a chance of spawning after purchasing the unlock Bigger and Badder for 50 Slayer reward points from any Slayer master. Like their standard variant, a nose peg or Slayer helmet is required to safely engage them, as otherwise the player will take rapid damage and have their stats drained.

• Their in-game models resemble and they use the same animations as giants, similarly to nechryarchs.
• Their examine text is a reference to the Ape Atoll Agility Course, for which the player has to wear a Ninja or Kruk monkey greegree, effectively dressing as a monkey. 3145 laps of the agility course would amount to 1,824,100 Agility experience, enough to reach level 79 if a player started from level 48, the minimum Agility level required to complete the course.
