Poison ivy seeds can be planted in a bush patch at level 70 Farming to yield poison ivy berries, which are used in Herblore to make weapon poison(++) or as protection payment for calquat trees (x8).

There is no need to pay a gardener to watch over a growing poison ivy bush because "it is pretty hardy stuff, and most animals will avoid eating it." For this reason, they will never become diseased, and there is no benefit to adding compost to the soil.

Poison ivy seeds are dropped by many monsters. They can also be stolen from master farmers or obtained from seed packs.

• Despite being immune to disease, graphics exist for the diseased and dead states of the plant, which share the same graphics as a whiteberry seed.
• Like most yield crops, the chance of poison ivy bush to save a harvest life is unknown. It does increase with level, resulting in increased yield at higher levels. Experimental findings approximate around 15-20 berries per bush with magic secateurs, a Farming cape, and level 99 Farming. ^[1][2]
