Jogres are a type of ogre that live in the jungles of Karamja. Their attacks are slow but powerful, however their low defence allows them to be killed quickly. They are a threat mostly to lower-level players exploring Karamja due to their high damage hits.

Jogres can also be found within the God Wars Dungeon, located to the north of Trollheim. As with other Bandosian followers in the dungeon, wearing a piece of Bandos-aligned equipment will make them unaggressive to the player.

Jogres do not count for ogre tasks. Jogres are often killed as part of the Champions' Challenge when going for their Jogre champion scroll drop. It is recommended to kill them in the Pothole Dungeon as it is a multicombat area and a dwarf multicannon can be used. See Champions' Challenge strategies for a suggested cannon placement.

Trivia

Their name is a portmanteau of 'jungle ogre'.
Before they were both graphically updated, jogres were simply a recoloured version of the ogres.
