Cactus seeds can be planted in a cactus patch found in Al Kharid and the Farming Guild. They require level 55 Farming to plant and after 9 hours and 20 minutes of growth time will produce a cactus. Players can harvest cactus spines from the mature plant, which often fetch a high price due to their uses in Farming and Herblore.
Ayesha in Al Kharid or Alan in the Farming Guild will look after your growing cactus plant in exchange for 6 cadava berries.
Cactus seeds are dropped by aberrant spectres, dagannoth, ice giants, moss giants, ogres, cave horrors and other monsters. They can also be obtained by pickpocketing a Master Farmer.
