Ironwood seeds are seeds used in the Farming skill. At level 80 Farming, ironwood seeds may be planted in filled plant pots with a gardening trowel and watered to become ironwood saplings.

After planting the sapling in a hardwood tree patch and waiting for it to fully grow, which takes 5,120 minutes (3 days, 13 hours, and 20 minutes), the plant will grow into an ironwood tree which can be cut to yield ironwood logs (and grant Woodcutting experience). Planting the ironwood sapling yields 145 experience, and checking the health yields 20,380 experience.

When cut down, the tree will automatically regrow after a period of time. A nearby gardener will look after an ironwood tree in exchange for 10 curry leaves.
