A planted rosewood tree depletes at the same rate of all planted trees, having a 1/8 chance to be cut down when a log is gathered. This can make cutting a player-grown rosewood tree frustrating unless multiple are planted in one location (currently only possible at Fossil Island) due to the likelihood of only gaining a few logs before the tree is felled and the player must wait two minutes for it to respawn.
