Linen yarn is made by using flax on a spinning wheel. It can be used to build a linen trawling net or woven into bolts of linen, which can be used to upgrade masts and sails on a boat.

The Museum Camp on Fossil Island has a spinning wheel next to a loom in the north tent if players intend to weave the yarn. It is also close to a bank chest, though these facilities must be built before being used.
