Barbarian Assault/Gambles

Honour points can be gambled for a chance to receive armour, resources, and the rare pet penance queen. These gambles are known on mobile as lucky dips, and are spent from a single role of the player's choice.

Tiers

There are 3 levels of gambling, each with different costs. For low and medium gambles, the player needs to have progressed through a certain number of waves without resetting or completing Wave 10.

The clue scroll (elite) and pet penance queen will always be rolled in addition to one of the main drops.

^ The elite clue scroll drop rate increases to 1/14 after unlocking the elite Combat Achievements rewards tier.
^ Clue scrolls will drop as scroll boxes after the completion of X Marks the Spot.

1 September 2017	Hotfix The chance to get an elite clue scroll from a high gamble has been decreased from 1/10 to 1/15.
31 August 2017 (Update \| poll)	There is now a 1/10 chance to get an elite clue scroll alongside high gamble rewards.
5 March 2015 (Update \| poll)	You now receive 10% more reward points from Barbarian Assault if you have completed the Kandarin Hard Diary.
14 August 2014 (Update \| poll)	The rewards from the Barbarian Assault gambles have been significantly improved. The Penance Pet can now be received from a high level gamble.

Trivia

The odds of getting a dragon chainbody, as initially quoted from Jagex, are "About the same odds as Zamorak suddenly deciding to give up his evil ways." Mod Mat K later confirmed that the actual rate was 1 in 16,000.
