Rune cannons are a type of cannon that can be built on a boat, requiring level 40 Ranged to operate. It can be built at specific facility hotspots on the boat, requiring level 80 Sailing and 76 Construction to build, granting 1,359 Construction experience.

The rune cannon attacks every 7 ticks, and can fire up to rune cannonballs (including granite). Crewmates with at least level 4 Privateering can be assigned to operate the cannon, as long as the player has the required unboosted Sailing level.

Only one cannon can be built on a raft and skiff, while a sloop allows two.
