Trims | OSRS Index

Boat trims are cosmetic paints applied to your boat using the boat schematics board at the Shipyard.

The skiff requires 1 paint, whereas the sloop requires 2. The raft cannot be painted. Each trim requires 25 Sailing and 20 Construction. Applying a paint to a skiff rewards 10 Construction experience, while painting a sloop rewards 20 Construction experience.

Guthixian trim	Fully chart the Shrouded Ocean to get the void orb from Gerardus. Then give the orb to the Elite Void Knight. Note: You must have your Captain's Log with you when speaking with Gerardus.	A balanced green trim to decorate your boat in the colour of Guthix. Makes the planks feel like trees again.	N/A
Saradominist trim	Fully chart the Ardent Ocean to get the holy sheet from Gerardus. Then give the sheet to High Priest on Entrana. Note: You must have your Captain's Log with you when speaking with Gerardus.	A strong blue trim to decorate your boat in the colour of Saradomin. Does not make surrounding water holy.	N/A
Zamorakian trim	Fully chart the Unquiet Ocean to get the charred key from Gerardus. Then use the key to open the old chest on Charred Island, which requires 60 Sailing to dock at and a rope (can be found on the island). Note: You must have your Captain's Log with you when speaking with Gerardus.	A powerful red trim to decorate your boat in the colour of Zamorak. Does not make you faster, but possibly more chaotic. Armadylean trim	Fully chart the Northern Ocean to get the book about lighthouses from Gerardus. Then talk to Larrissa with the book. Sandy trim	Obtained by performing the crab dance emote (at least once) while fighting a Hermit Crab on The Great Conch. The item will then be dropped by the enemy upon death.	A sandy beige trim to decorate your boat. Is not coarse, rough or irritating. Does not get everywhere.	N/A

Trivia

The Zamorakian paint's description is a reference to the trope that red coloured objects move faster.

The sandy paint's description is a reference to a quote from Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.
