Inky paint is a type of boat paint used to recolour the trim of a player's skiff or sloop via the boat schematics board at the Shipyard. Trimming a boat requires level 25 Sailing and 20 Construction, granting 10 Construction experience. One paint is required for trimming skiffs, while sloops require two.
Inky paint can be received as very rare drops from krakens at sea. Along with angler's, shark, salvor's, and Barracuda paint, it can be given to Trader Stan in exchange for merchant's paint.
