A mithril helm is a core boat part used to navigate the ocean. It is built via the boat schematics board at the Shipyard, requiring level 55 Sailing and 47 Construction, granting a variable amount of Construction experience depending on the type of boat.
A mithril helm or better is required to resist strong rapids.
