A camphor mast and canvas sails are a core boat part used to control boat speed. It is built via the boat schematics board at the Shipyard, requiring level 68 Sailing and 60 Construction, granting a variable amount of Construction experience depending on the type of boat.

A camphor mast and canvas sails, or better, will negate boat damage from Lightning clouds. However, boat speed is still reduced when struck.
