Lightning clouds are found all over The Storm Tempor. Lightning strikes from them occasionally, dealing damage to the hulls of boats that get too close. If the player's boat has a camphor mast and canvas sails or better, then the lightning clouds deal no damage at all (though the boat still loses speed).
