A stormy key is an item rewarded upon clearing the swordfish rank of the Tempor Tantrum Barracuda Trial, requiring a completion time of 1:48.00.

The key opens a chest found in Pandemonium Cave, rewarding the storm cruiser's outfit, 10 noted uncut sapphires, and 10,000 coins. If lost, it can be reclaimed from Rum-dashed Ralph in the Storm Tempor. The chest can be opened again to get more copies of the storm cruiser's outfit via the drop trick, but the 10 sapphires and 10,000 GP won't be given again.

• It is possible to obtain the key multiple times (perhaps by completing the trial again after one of the coldfix updates, or by setting a new personal best), but multiple keys have no use.
