The iron key is a quest item used only in Priest in Peril. It is obtained by using a golden key on the southern Monument in the Paterdomus mausoleum.

It is used to unlock the cell Drezel is detained in.

Duplicates can be obtained by using another golden key on the monument even if there is already a golden key on it. This can only be done before using the blessed water on the coffin. The iron key also cannot be added to a steel key ring.

• If the iron key is used on the monument with the golden key already exchanged at least once (regardless of holding golden key duplicates), the player will say: "I think this key is more useful to me right now than the Golden key is."
