The moon key is a key created by joining its loop half and tooth half together.

The loop half is received while performing skilling activities within Varlamore, such as chopping trees, fishing or mining in either the Cam Torum mine or Shooting Stars within the region. The tooth half is dropped by Amoxliatl, Hueycoatl, Doom of Mokhaiotl, and other creatures within Ruins of Tapoyauik.

The moon key can be used on the chest located within Ruins of Tapoyauik requiring completion of The Heart of Darkness to access.

Multiple moon key halves can be received before finishing or using any moon keys.
