A rune helm is a core boat part used to navigate the ocean. It is built via the boat schematics board at the Shipyard, requiring level 87 Sailing and 81 Construction, granting a variable amount of Construction experience depending on the type of boat.
A rune helm or better is required to resist powerful rapids. Additionally, when crystallised, only two clicks are needed to break it off.
