A teleportation focus is a boat facility which enables the player to use the Summon Boat spell or magic tablet to teleport the boat to the dock or mooring point that they are currently located at. To be able to cast Teleport to Boat, players must instead build the greater teleport focus.

The teleport focus can be built at specific facility hotspots on the boat, requiring level 55 Sailing and 49 Construction, granting 2,154 Construction experience. It is recommended not to build this facility next to the helm on a skiff, as that is where the crystal extractor (unlocked at 73 Sailing) must be placed in order to be harvested from while still operating the helm of the skiff.

Much like the boat recovery service offered by shipwrights, certain items in the cargo hold (port task crates, bounty items, salvage, and fish) will be lost when summoned. Additionally, lost boats cannot be recovered with Summon Boat; the boat needs to have been docked at a mooring point to be summoned.
