Mooring point

Mooring points, also called docking points, are facilities where players can board or disembark their boats or other players' boats. Clicking the gangplank at a port or the mooring point at an island to disembark sets the location the player will teleport to if they escape or capsize their boat, similarly to a buoy. The docks at Port Sarim and The Pandemonium can be used at level 1 Sailing, but other mooring points require higher Sailing levels and/or quest requirements to use.

When disembarking at a port that has a bank deposit box, the first crewmate in the crew registry will be available on the dock to bank the contents of the ship's cargo hold. This function is not available on any island, even if it has a bank. When disembarking at the destination of a courier task, crewmates will automatically withdraw as many cargo crates as they can hold to bring them to the ledger table.

Disembarking at a mooring point is not boostable.

(Update)

Players should no longer find themselves logging in at the last port that they visited if they logged out with their boat docked at an island's mooring point.
