Burial at Sea

Burial at Sea is an unreleased quest not accessible in the game. The quest would have been started by talking to 'Squawking' Steve Beanie. The quest summary is "Hunt down a pair of wannabe pirates and unlock the deep sea diving gear, a useful Sailing tool." The quest assets were added to the game on 5 November 2025 with the Sailing Technical Pre-Release.

Judging by the assets (which use the config name bas_) and the quest summary, the quest appears to be a follow-up to the Pandemonium quest and would have unlocked the deep sea helmet and deep sea apparatus, which would be required for higher level mermaid guide sea charting tasks. The quest would have involved finding and fighting a sickly version of Anne, obtaining deep sea diving gear, diving with Victoria Kebbit-Monkfish, solving a grid puzzle, and discovering a Zarosian laboratory beneath the ocean.

The deep sea helmet design from this quest was later used in The Red Reef.
