Animation

Crab dance is an emote unlocked by charting the crab monument on Wintumber Island. Note that the player must chart the monument while on the island to unlock the emote, which gives it a requirement of 63 Sailing for access to the island. Upon use it causes the player to rave like a crab.

If the crab claw, crabclaw hook, or crab helmet is equipped when performing the emote, additional light and confetti effects from the Party emote are added.

If activated before dealing the final blow to a Hermit crab, the player is rewarded with Sandy paint.

• The enhanced crab dance emote.

• This emote is a reference to the popular "Crab Rave" meme which featured a collection of crabs on a small island dancing to house music, sometimes featuring text with the format "XXXXX Is Gone!"
• The crab dance emote had been partially implemented since the release of Varlamore, and could be seen in the interface by changing a single variable in the game client. This could not be done through normal means however, and the emote could also not be performed.
