Tear of the Soul is an island south-east of the Isle of Souls. Level 61 Sailing is required to moor at the island (not boostable), along with a boat furnished with an inoculation station (can be a friend's boat, though 61 Sailing will still be required); however, the island can be accessed without protection from fetid waters by carefully navigating a boat on the edge of the hazardous water near the mooring point.

A small key can be dug up on the island, two tiles west of the rowboat/rowboat space. This key can be used to unlock a lockbox on Buccaneers' Haven containing an eternal brazier schematic.

Sleve McDichael offers services to rename boats here at the cost of 1 cider, and Biles can exchange banknotes for 5 coins per banknote. Yew trees, sand crabs, and an iron axe spawn can also be found on the island. The island also has two burnt trees, although they are unreachable.

• Disembark at the mooring point by sailing to the island (61 Sailing).
• Teleport to the Isle of Souls via the Soul Wars Portal or Minigame Teleport, then run south-east and take the rowboat (must be constructed first, see below).

A rowboat can be built with a saw, hammer, and the following Construction level and materials. Be aware that you can only build the rowboat facility on the Tear of the Soul island and not on the Isle of Souls. However, the boat will only take players a very short distance west to the Isle of Souls, and both locations have nearby mooring points. It is primarily useful for those wishing to access the island quickly when completing hard Treasure Trails.

In total, players will need the following items to build everything:

• After washing up on the island, Biles wished to name it "Drumstick Isle", but could not do so as that name was already taken by another island. He had to settle for establishing the Drumstick Kingdom on the Tear of the Soul instead, as he could not change the name of the island itself.^[1]
